X Original Content Rewards
X's payout program for original content. It replaced Creator Revenue Sharing, which closed to new enrollment on August 7, 2026 and was retired September 7, 2026.
Requirements as stated on the source
- Be based in a country where the program is available; be 18+; account in good standing.
- Personal or Business account (political/government organizations not eligible).
- Hold an active X Premium, Premium+ or Premium Business subscription, or a Plus, Premium, Super or Ultra plan on The X Subscription.
- At least 500,000 Home Timeline impressions from verified users in the last 90 days (reply impressions excluded).
- At least 500 verified followers.
- Actively post original content as X defines it.
Process
Submit a short application. 'Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission.' If not approved: one appeal, then reapply after 42 days. Payouts every two weeks. Enroll in Creator Studio.
Notes and caveats
- Payouts are based on qualified impressions: unique impressions from Premium subscribers on the Home Timeline where at least 50% of the post is visible.
- The retired Revenue Sharing page listed different numbers (5M organic impressions in 3 months, 500 verified followers, minimum payout $30), which shows how fast these cutoffs can move.
