Instagram Gifts (on Reels)
Fans buy Stars and send gifts on Reels. Requirements below come from third-party pages that cite Instagram's Help Center.
Requirements as stated on the source
- At least 500 followers.
- A professional (Creator or Business) account; 18 or older.
- Live in an eligible country; a payout account set up on Instagram.
- Meet Instagram's Partner Monetization Policies and Community Standards; agree to the Gifts terms.
Process
Per the third-party pages, check Professional Dashboard > Gifts; if it is not shown you are not eligible yet.
Notes and caveats
- UNCONFIRMED against the official page: Instagram's Help Center was not readable by our fetcher. Two third-party pages agree on 500 followers; verify in the Instagram app.
- Instagram's own creators page describes Gifts but did not show the requirements in the text we read.
